Pride in the Grind
About SBV
A Colorado coatings company led by owner Nelson Garcia, built on prep work, clear communication and pride in every project.
Our story
Pride in the Grind
SBV Concrete Coatings is owned by Nelson Garcia and based in Northglenn, Colorado. The team installs flake, metallic, polyaspartic and solid color coatings, grind & seal and polished concrete, pool deck and balcony coatings, and epoxy countertops and bar tops for homeowners and businesses across Denver and nearby areas.
"Pride in the Grind" is a reminder that the best-looking floor still depends on what happens before the first coat: grinding the concrete, repairing cracks, and dealing with moisture or old coatings so the new system bonds and lasts.
SBV travels for work. Recent projects took the crew from Sloan's Lake and Thornton to Boulder, Parker and Colorado Springs, and up into Evergreen, Fairplay, Breckenridge, Fraser and Eagle.
Faith, family and community
The cross in SBV's logo is there on purpose. Faith is part of how the company works and treats customers. SBV also gives back locally, including an October 2026 charity networking night with Built4More to help provide Halloween costumes for kids.
Always learning the craft
In September 2026, SBV joined a three-day hands-on training with XPS to keep sharpening its installation skills.
More than epoxy
Coatings are the focus, but the team also installs LVP, tile and carpet. If your project mixes floor types, mention it when you request a quote.
