Terms & Conditions
Effective October 4, 2026.
Effective date: October 4, 2026
These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the SBV Concrete Coatings website at https://sbvcoatings.com and to the services we provide. "SBV," "we," "us," and "our" mean SBV Concrete Coatings. "You" means the visitor or customer. Please read these terms carefully.
Acceptance of These Terms
By browsing our website, submitting a form, requesting a quote, or hiring us for a project, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. If your signed estimate or written agreement with us says something different from these terms, the written estimate or agreement controls for that project.
Our Services
SBV Concrete Coatings installs and repairs concrete floor coatings for homes and businesses in Denver, Colorado and nearby areas, including garage, basement, patio, porch, and commercial floors. Our work may include flake and metallic epoxy systems, polyaspartic coatings, grind and seal, polished concrete, epoxy countertops, concrete repair, coating removal, and moisture mitigation. Service descriptions on this website are general information. The exact scope, materials, and finish for your project are defined only in your written estimate.
Estimates and Pricing
- Estimates are free. Any pricing from our online quote builder, a phone call, or a text is a preliminary range only and is not a binding offer.
- Your final price is set in a written estimate after we see the space or review enough information to evaluate it, including square footage, concrete condition, prep requirements, and the system you choose.
- Written estimates are valid for the period stated on the estimate. If none is stated, pricing may be revised if the project is not booked within a reasonable time, since material costs and schedules change.
- Additions or changes you request after the estimate is approved, and conditions we discover once work begins, may change the price. We will discuss any change with you before doing the extra work.
Deposits and Payment
- We may require a deposit to reserve your installation date and order materials. The amount and any refund terms will be shown on your estimate.
- The remaining balance is due as stated in your estimate or invoice, typically when the work is complete.
- Accepted payment methods and any fees for late or returned payments will be listed on your estimate or invoice.
- If a balance remains unpaid, we may pause work, and we may pursue collection of the amount owed as allowed by Colorado law.
Scheduling and Weather
We do our best to keep every appointment. Coatings, however, depend on the conditions of the slab and the air around it. Colorado brings cold snaps, big temperature swings, snowmelt, rain, and humidity changes, and most coating materials have minimum and maximum temperature and moisture limits for proper application and curing. If conditions on your scheduled day fall outside those limits, or if we expect they will during curing, we may delay or reschedule your installation to protect the quality of the floor. Cold months can bring shorter install windows, especially in unheated garages and mountain locations.
Schedules can also shift because of earlier jobs, material delivery, illness, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will let you know as soon as possible and work with you on a new date. If you need to reschedule, please give us as much notice as you can.
Your Responsibilities as a Customer
- Clear the area: remove stored items, shelving, furniture, and belongings from the work area before we arrive, unless we have agreed in writing to move them.
- Access: give our crew access to the work area for the full installation, including any gate codes, garage door openers, or keys we need.
- Utilities: provide working electricity and water at the property. Some equipment needs a dedicated circuit, which we will discuss with you in advance.
- Vehicles: keep vehicles out of the work area during the job and for the full cure period we give you before parking on the new floor.
- Pets and people: keep pets, children, and visitors away from the work area during installation and curing, for their safety and to protect the finish.
- Information: tell us about known moisture problems, past repairs, existing sealers or coatings, in-floor heating, or anything else that could affect the work. If your HOA has rules about work hours or contractor access, please let us know.
Site Conditions and Concrete Condition
Every slab is different, and some conditions cannot be fully seen until we begin grinding or removing old material. Moisture coming up through the slab, cracks, spalling, soft or damaged concrete, slab movement, oil contamination, and existing paint, sealers, or coatings can all affect how a coating bonds and performs. If we find conditions like these, we will explain what we see and what we recommend. Additional preparation, repair, removal, or moisture mitigation may change the scope, price, and timeline of the project, and we will get your approval before proceeding with the added work.
Coatings do not stop concrete from moving. Cracks may reappear in the coating if the slab continues to shift, settle, or crack over time, which can happen with Front Range soils and freeze-thaw cycles.
Natural Variation in Finishes
Decorative coatings are applied by hand, which makes every floor one of a kind. Flake broadcast patterns, metallic swirls and veining, color depth, and sheen will vary from one project to another and even across a single floor. Samples, color charts, and photos on our website or social media are representative examples only, and screens show color differently. Your finished floor will not be an exact match to any sample or photo, and normal variation is not considered a defect.
Warranty
Any warranty is provided only as stated in your written estimate. No other warranty is promised on this website or by any verbal statement, and nothing on this website creates a warranty.
Care and Maintenance
Following our care instructions helps your floor look its best. In general, that means waiting the full cure time we give you before walking on, parking on, or placing items on the floor; cleaning with mild, pH-neutral cleaners and a soft mop or brush; rinsing off road salt, deicers, and grit tracked in during winter; wiping up spills, especially chemicals and automotive fluids, promptly; and using pads under kickstands, jack stands, and heavy furniture. Damage caused by misuse, harsh chemicals, sharp or heavy impacts, dragging equipment, or not following care instructions is your responsibility.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by Colorado law, SBV Concrete Coatings will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost use of your space, lost profits, or inconvenience, arising from our website or our services. Our total liability for any claim related to a project will not exceed the amount you paid us for that project. We are not responsible for delays or problems caused by weather, hidden slab conditions, pre-existing damage, the acts of others, or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Website Use and Intellectual Property
Our website is provided for general information about our services. We try to keep it accurate and current, but we do not promise that every detail is complete or error-free, and the site is provided "as is." We do not publish your name, street address, or other personal details with these photos. If you prefer that we not share photos of your project, tell us at any time and we will respect your request going forward.
