SBV gave a Fairplay Airbnb a luxury metallic finish that guests notice the moment they walk in.

Floor coatings in Fairplay
Up in Fairplay, SBV Concrete Coatings delivered a luxury metallic finish for an Airbnb. For a short-term rental, the floor is part of the experience. A metallic epoxy floor brings a polished, high-end look with swirling depth, and it's seamless, so it's simpler to clean between guests than grout lines or carpet.
Fairplay sits high in South Park at nearly 10,000 feet, and it's a real drive from our Northglenn base over Kenosha Pass. We do work out of town, though, and mountain projects are some of our favorites. Whether you own a rental, a cabin or a full-time home with a garage that needs help, we'll talk through options, including a practical garage floor coating if that's a better fit.
Local know-how
What to know in Fairplay
Cabins, Rentals and Rural Properties
Fairplay is a small town, and much of the surrounding area is rural Park County land with cabins, ranch properties and homes spread out across the high basin. Many properties are second homes or rentals, and buildings vary from older cabins to newer construction with attached garages. Outbuildings and detached garages are common on larger lots. Because the housing here is so varied, we rely on photos and a careful look at each slab rather than assumptions about what a typical home needs.
High Altitude, Cold Nights and Strong Sun
At nearly 10,000 feet, Fairplay has cold nights for much of the year, intense sunlight, dry air and wind sweeping across South Park. Those conditions matter for flooring. UV exposure can fade some coatings where sunlight hits the floor, and low temperatures narrow the window for proper curing. Snow and road treatments from Highway 285 make their way into garages too. We plan high-altitude installs carefully around temperature, and heated spaces give us the most flexibility.
Making a Rental Stand Out
Short-term rentals compete on photos and first impressions. A metallic floor like the one we installed for a Fairplay Airbnb gives a space a finished, upscale feel, and seamless coatings are practical when you're turning a property over quickly. Owners who live elsewhere also appreciate a surface that doesn't need much fuss. If you're managing your place remotely, let us know, and we'll coordinate access and work around your booking calendar when we plan the job.

Can you work around my Airbnb booking calendar?
Yes, that's something we plan for. For our Fairplay Airbnb project, the goal was a luxury finish without disrupting the owner's business more than necessary. Share your open dates when you request a quote, and we'll confirm a realistic schedule, including time for the floor to cure before guests arrive, in your written estimate.
Does high altitude affect epoxy floors?
Altitude itself isn't the main issue. Temperature and sunlight are. Cold slabs and cold air slow curing, and strong UV can fade some coatings over time. We plan around temperature, schedule work for suitable conditions, and recommend UV-stable topcoats where sunlight reaches the floor.
Do you really drive to Fairplay?
We do. We've completed work in Fairplay and other mountain towns. Because it's a longer trip, we ask for details and photos up front so we can plan properly. Call or request a free quote and we'll go from there.
